Whilst there are no shopping centers or malls in Hoi An, the markets offer many buying options.

The Central Market, Night Market, Ba Le, and Tiger are great places to pick up souvenirs, clothing & accessories.

Whilst the open-air markets are the place to go to buy fresh food produce, there are plenty of supermarkets in Hoi An that cater for everything else.

Compared to the West, you won’t find huge, vacuous, faceless stores the size of a sports’ pitch – thank goodness – but for basic grocery items, toiletries, alcohol and more you’ve lots of supermarkets in Hoi An to choose from. And if you happen to be missing a certain Western product – breakfast cereal or Vegemite perhaps – these are the places you can find it.
